Kylie Minogue’s new studio disc, X, is set to be released on November 26, but after listening to the first single, “2 Hearts,” I already have a pretty good idea how the rest of the disc is going to sound.
Although I expected something with a little more depth from a woman who just beat breast cancer, it appears Kylie had something else in mind. It’s an ok single, but I find it a bit depressing for a 39 year old woman to push baby-voiced vocals and tired synth-pop beats.
Don’t get me wrong: I still love Kylie. I’m just disappointed that she produced another record that can’t be played anywhere other than a gay bar.

I am impressed somebody remembers Stacy Q.
Ya know, with all her talent we want more, but I guess we should be happy with a 20+ year career of hotness and europop superstardom instead of 5 years of amazing music while looking like winehouse and dead by 26.
BTW- I love the graphics you use for the dates and the over-all graphic design of the site!
Thank you, Pip! We’ve been thinking about using this design for CW too. We’re wicked happy with the way it looks.
she’s so foxy.
Also, Stacy Q was the bomb.
I liked this. I’d want to hear another track or 2 from the album before buying it, but this wasn’t bad.
And I second Pip on the site design. My only request would be a link at the top to the previous entries as well.
Love the glamness it! The vid is amazing. It’s a real grower, but don’t expect more of this on the album. I’ve heard most of the key tracks and they’re much more pop.
